Welcome to Seaside

Seaside, is known for its pastel-colored houses with porches and white picket fences. Remember that movie, The Truman Show? Yes, it was filmed in this small coastal town! Shops, restaurants, and a street lined with some of the most delicious food you can buy from food trucks are some of the first things you may notice when driving into this town. One of my favorite things about Seaside is their Annual Halloweener Derby where you see hilarious races and costumes featuring some of the locals Daschunds. Grab a well-sized Mimosa from Modica Market and bring your beach chair to the Seaside amphitheater to catch one of the local bands.

Where to Eat

Discover authentic Cuban cuisine at Cocina Cubana, a walk-up food stand with outdoor seating serving create-your-own bowls, signature sandwiches, hot Cuban coffee, and signature frozen cocktails in the heart of Seaside. Start your lunch with The Cubano Sandwich, an artisan masterpiece with heaping portions of ham and pulled pork and topped with swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard.

Beat the heat at Nigels 30A, a boutique dessert eatery offering gourmet frozen bananas, ice cream floats, and creative breakfast options. Do yourself a favor and order a chocolate-covered banana with confetti sprinkles after a fun day in the sun—it’s heavenly.

Known for its flavorful mimosas and homemade cakes, Modica Market is your one-stop shop for high-quality Southern comfort foods. A rotating lunch menu, dessert bar, and wide selection of wines, craft beers, and cocktails make this charming grocery store a Seaside favorite.
